Real Time Relativity has been used in first year physics classes at The Australian National University and at The University of Queensland.

Using RTR in Education
Real Time Relativity is the centrepiece of the project Teaching Physics Using Virtual Reality.
The idea is to learn about special relativity by experiencing it in a virtual world. We have published a paper on this in the American Journal of Physics.

This paper is based on an older version of RTR (version 0.9), available here.
More recent versions support customising worlds, and come with a scenario covering the Relativity of Simultaneity.
