Windows : Download Windows Installer

If you have a version of RTR earlier than v1.0.0 installed, please uninstall that before proceeding.

Then run the downloaded installer by double clicking it.

Double click the downloaded .DMG file. This will open a virtual disk window, containing the application bundle and documentation. You can copy the files to your desired application location.

System Requirements

Windows Operating System

Microsoft Windows 2000/XP or later
DirectX 9c runtime (November 2007 or later). Please ensure you have a recent version of DirectX: Available from Microsoft
Desktop Color Depth: 24-bit or greater

Mac OSX Operating System

OSX 10.4.x or higher (Intel or PowerPC)
Desktop Color Depth: 24-bit or greater

Video Card

A video card supporting Shader Model 2, and for Windows systems it must support DirectX 9.

Examples:

nVidia GeForce FX Series, 6xxx Series or above
ATI Radeon 9500-9800 Series, X Series or above

Common Issues

Missing DLL "d3dx9_36.dll" : This error message indicates you need to update your DirectX 9 runtime files from Microsoft.
The other likely reason for RTR to display an error message when starting up is that your Video card does not support the required features. See above for what we believe are compatible cards.
